और गोहाना विधायक जगबीर मलिक भी वहां पहुंचे. राहुल गांधी ने मजदूरों के साथ चटाई पर बैठकर नाश्ता किया. किसानों और मजदूरों के बीच
राहुल गांधी की मौजूदगी ने उन्हें भावुक कर दिया. राहुल गांधी करीब 2 घंटे तक खेतों में किसानों और मजदूरों के बीच रहे और फिर गोहाना रेस्ट
हाउस में कुछ समय बिताने के बाद दिल्ली लौट आए.


Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, set out from Delhi to Shimla on Saturday morning with his staff. While en
route to Shimla, he suddenly decided to visit the fields in Sonipat.

Rahul Gandhi traveled from Kundli Border to Kurad Road and then reached the village of Madina via the Gohana Bypass. At 6:40 AM, he was on Bhainswan Khurd Road in the Madina village of the Baroda constituency. Upon seeing the farmers and laborers working in the fields,
Rahul Gandhi stopped and unexpectedly joined them.

Rahul Gandhi engaged in conversation with the farmers who were planting rice saplings and harvesting the fields. Rahul Gandhi inquired about the process of rice planting and gathered information about it. Rahul Gandhi requested a farmer to allow him to operate their tractor. In response, Rahul Gandhi operated the tractor and participated in farming activities by helping with some of the fieldwork.

Later, Rahul Gandhi climbed up his pants till his knees, entered the water-filled fields, and joined the laborers in harvesting the rice crop. The laborers working there became enthusiastic upon suddenly seeing him among them, and they insisted that Rahul Gandhi have breakfast with them. Unable to refuse their request, Rahul Gandhi sat on a mat amidst the laborers and had roti (Indian bread) with onions and pickles. Rahul Gandhi also drank lassi (a traditional yogurt-based drink). During this time, Rahul Gandhi engaged in conversation with the farmers for quite some time and even tasted the flavor of jamun (a type of fruit).
